	About LPG


	Fuel
	Liquified Petroleum Gas commonly known as LPG is one of the cleanest commercial fuels available for automobile use. LPG is the safest among all four fuels - Petrol, Diesel, CNG, LPG with a minimum accident rate worldwide. It is far cheaper vis-à-vis Petrol and Diesel.

	Equipment
	After intensive study of the LPG systems in use in most developed countries world wide and through testing, the Government of India has approved the LPG conversion system for use in four wheelers in our country. All aspects of the kits from design to the materials used are thoroughly tested by the central Govt. labs. These vigorous testing procedures assure consumers of highest performance and maximum safety.

	Availability
	Auto LPG is a Petroleum product mainly owned and distributed by the four big oil companies HPCL, BPCL, IOC, IBP and is dispensed through hundreds of their existing Petrol Pumps spread across the country. Over the last year, the Govt. has sanctioned a further 10,000 pumps to be operated by other new companies viz. Reliance, Videocon, ONGC, Essar Oil, Total Elfina of France, BGL of Hyderabad, Vanaz of Pune and many others, many of whom have already commenced dispensation of LPG. Presently LPG is available in all major states across the country. LPG being in liquid form is dispensed in liters through high speed dispensers which fills a tank of 48 liters in just 2 to 4 minutes!!! Unlike as witnessed in the case of CNG there is no waiting or queue to fill LPG saving precious time for the consumers.
